Paul started his career as a Chef at the Savoy Hotel and then at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. It was at this time that Paul felt called to the ordained ministry in the Anglican Church and went to Theological College in Durham.
Paul served in two parishes in the Croydon area before working in Staffordshire for nine years. His last parish, for twelve years, was St Mary’s Church in Sunbury which was next to the River Thames. Paul has a deep interest in Christian Spirituality. His hobbies are yoga, playing chess, travel and swimming.
The Church of the Epiphany is his first church outside the UK. Since being in Doha Paul has taken up playing the traditional board game called Dama and is enjoying visiting the Souq and driving along the Corniche.
He is married to Sally and they have three grown up children, Jacob, Rosanna and Benjamin.
